Some of the specifics activities that you can do are the walking tour for the five Major Squares from Old Havana, Cathedral Square, Square of Arms, Square of San Francis, Old Square and Square of the Crist, also you can take part in a Classic American Car Tour for Havana, visiting emblematic places out of the historical center and Old Havana like the Revolution Square, The National Metropolitan Park, the 5ve Avenue with the big mansions in the West of the city, the Malecón (Seawall) and other wonderful and symbolic places.
Havana via Girón we have a stop in the Zapata Swamp, both are interesting places in Cuba. Zapata Swamp because is the only place in the country were Crocodiles have a natural habitat, so we’ll stop in the crocodile hatchery. Also Girón because you can visit the museum that saves everything that had to do with the attack of Bay of Pigs. Weapons and personal belongings of the protagonists of that decisive day.
A day in Cienfuegos, the French influence is seen in its architecture. The city was founded on April 28, 1819. The original nucleus of the city was declared to be part of a world heritage by UNESCO in 2006. Four days in the ancient Trinidad founded in 1514. UNESCO has declared Trinidad the museum city of Cuba. It’s known for its stone-paved streets, wooden balustrades, large windows and horse-drawn carriage. This is a great opportunity to know this beautiful city and taste the Canchánchara, a refreshing cocktail made from high wine, lime juice, honey and ice traditional in this part of the country. Also visiting the House of Music and the House of Trova where you can enjoy of life Cuban music.
The travel continue in Topes de Collantes, in the heart of the Escambray Mountain. Here you can visit some of the most interesting places in Cuba for eco tourism. The Cabourní, La Batata and Vega Grande, are three terrific places with a beautiful nature and difficult access. The Cabourní is a waterfall, La Batata is a cavern system and looks like a mountain with a river flows through the middle creating water holds, in those places you can enjoy taking a bath in the cold water. The only way to get there is doing hiking, so we do not recommend for people with problem of health like obesity or heart problems, neither to people with motility problems.
Santa Clara City is also known as Che’s city. The original nucleus of the city centers around Leoncio Vidal Park. You can visit the Ernesto Che Guevara Monument with a museum honoring the Heroic Guerrilla and his comrades in struggle in Bolivia, also The Armored Train Monument, standing on the spot where Che directed the last, decisive battle against the Batista tyranny.
Returning to Havana you get the opportunity to visit The Hammel Alley, were you can experiment and know more about Afrocuban religion and cultural syncretism in the Island, in one of the most famous Alley in Havana you can listening Yoruba music, see paintings and dance about African traditions in the modern Cuba. Other important activity and one of the most expected for travelers is the Maridaje.
